Cinnamon Rolls

August 23, 2010

Nothing but nothing trumps cinnamon buns on a cold winter’s day…

Dough
1/2 batch of bread dough (made with bread machine)
cinnamon
sugar
butter

Frosting
1/2 tub of smooth fat free cottage cheese
icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Roll out the dough into 1cm rectangle. Spread with soft butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste. Roll up like a swiss roll, and slice into 3cm pieces. Place next to each other in a pie dish. Bake in preheated oven until baked through at 180 degrees C.

Mix all the frosting ingredients together to form smooth mix, add milk if too thick. To serve pour the frosting over the roll.

I’ve never really been a fan of cinnamon rolls just because I’m not to keen on cinnamon, but these really do look awesome! The frosting looks delicious!
